Everything you need to know about CFO Intel.
Is this just another AI dashboard?
Dashboards show you what happened. CFO Intel explains why — traces every number to its source transaction, flags what can't be verified, and produces an audit trail your board and auditors can walk through line by line.
How is my financial data protected?
Your financial data never touches a shared CFO Intel database. Unlike typical SaaS products that pool customer data into one central system, we deploy a dedicated instance for each customer connected directly to your own database, your own ERP integrations, and API keys under your control. There's nothing central for an attacker to breach, you can audit exactly who has access, and you can revoke it anytime without waiting on us.
What does "client-hosted" mean?
Client-hosted means your instance runs on your own cloud accounts: your database, your app hosting, your integration keys. Nothing lives on our infrastructure. We provide the intelligence layer (analytical engine, AI narrative, audit trail); you keep everything else — the data, the credentials, and full control.
Do you need to be SOC 2 compliant?
No — and that's by design. Traditional vendor SOC 2 certifies how a provider handles your data on their infrastructure. Since your data stays on SOC 2-certified providers you already use (Supabase, Vercel, your ERPs), their compliance governs your data directly. For procurement reviews, we provide architecture documentation and security practices on request.
How do you trace numbers back to source data?
Every number traces back to the source transaction that produced it. A deterministic engine computes all metrics — the AI narrates the results, but never performs math on its own. If the narrative says revenue grew 12%, you can drill from that claim straight to the underlying transactions. Anything the AI can't tie to a verified computed value is flagged in the audit trail, not hidden behind language.
What if the AI gets a number wrong?
The AI can't hallucinate numbers because it never generates them. A deterministic engine computes every metric; the AI only narrates what's been computed, and each claim carries a verification tag (sourced, derived, or flagged). If coverage fails the quality gate, you don't see a polished narrative — you see the gap, called out. No false confidence.
How long does setup take?
Most clients are live within 24 hours; more complex setups take up to 72. There's nothing queued on our end — the deployment goes straight onto your own infrastructure, and integrations connect via standard OAuth in minutes.
Who owns the data and the IP?
You own your data completely — every transaction, metric, and export. We retain the intelligence layer under a non-transferable license that comes with your subscription. If you ever leave, your data goes with you.
Do you use my data to train AI models?
Never. It's architecturally impossible in a client-hosted deployment. Your data never reaches our systems, and AI calls run through your own API key with training disabled at the provider level.
What does pricing look like?
Pricing is per-deployment and depends on integration scope, data volume, and support level. We're in early access and discounted pilot pricing is available for finance leaders evaluating the architecture before standard tiers launch. Reach out with a brief on your setup for a quote.
